There is making out, making love, cuddling, kissing and morning sex…then there’s waking up beside someone.

Maybe I’m just strange but I really like the concept of waking up and having someone beside me. Specially if I really fancy them. Not that you need somebody to always be there, just that it is pleasant. Sometimes you wake up and you feel mixed emotions about your day. Sometimes you feel like shit and wonder if it’s even worth getting out of bed. But if you wake up to somebody who you admire then you’ve got your daily dose of inspiration right there. It’s like coffee but without the calories.

Some people just make you want to do more. Get out of bed and start your day and get shit done. Sure sometimes, you wanna stay in bed a little longer with them and cuddle or read books or talk about nothing at all but you still feel happier waking up beside them. I think it’s a hell of a compliment to be told that someone wants to wake up beside you. It’s kind of like saying “You’re important and your face is delightful, I want it to be the first thing I see when I wake up. I like you.
